Theme: “Knowing The
Way”
We are “how to” people…We spend much of our time and energy
searching for the way to do relationships, parenting, work, politics, pain,
etc. We love bullet lists and quick
fixes and clear policies that make everything work out perfectly. We hear others say that the Bible has all of
the answers, but we can’t find the bullet list or verse in it that speaks about
how to do our specific lives. Jesus says
“I AM the Way; I am how to”. He wants us
to know Him, not politically or morally or socially, but deeply and
intimately. Join us as we explore what
it means to really know The Way and how
knowing Him reveals the answers to all our “how to” questions.
Our Speaker is a woman named Allen
Bradford. She grew up in Corinth, MS. After obtaining her BA in English from Mississippi
State University, she earned a MA in Biblical Studies from RTS Jackson, where
she met her husband, Bill. Upon
graduation from RTS, Allen & Bill moved to Peru, where they served as
missionaries for 10 years. Allen now
lives in Tupelo, MS, with her husband and four children. Allen loves to share stories and see the Lord’s
hand in the lives of sisters in Christ.
Other highlights:
Friday night will feature a bonfire with S’mores. Please bring a favorite snack to share during
